Can't Face The Silence
Silence
is deafening,
When
it's all that's left to take in;
I
know this to be true.
Insanity
and paranoia breed,
As
the walls move closer and closer in;
I
can't look at the face of silence again.
I
can understand why TV and Radio,
Become
surrogate family to some people,
I've
been there too.
Time
to kill, but you can never murder it,
Like
a cartoon character that no matter what the odds or peril,
Stands
up straight, dusts itself off and comes right back at you.
Constructing
a skyscraper with building blocks of fear,
The
tide always comes in for me every day, just deep enough to drown me.
My
head is an aerial only picking up the screams of silence,
Someone
else is living life to the full;
But
that's not what I want to know.
